In honor of its 45th anniversary of incorporation, Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center (MHDCC) launched its new brand and website Monday.
MHDCC provides free and confidential services to men, women and children who have experienced intimate partner domestic violence in the Purchase Region of west Kentucky.
The agency offers a 24/7 staffed crisis hotline and emergency shelter, safety planning, comprehensive case management and advocacy, legal advocacy, support groups and education, housing stabilization and assistance, and more.
The new logo, brand and website were intentionally crafted to recapture the breadth of MHDCC’s mission and who we serve: men, women and children.
The new colors and inclusive design elements used reflect comfort, refuge, empowerment and strength – all of which stand in direct contrast to the trauma, isolation, and violent nature of the issue of intimate partner violence.
“Our staff and Board of Directors are thrilled to finally share our new brand and website with the community,” said Kayla Myers, MHDCC’s Director of Community Engagement.
“Visuals and graphics are an important part of an organization’s communication to those it serves, and we hope our new brand signals to all survivors that there is a safe place for them to go for support and healing, and that they will find expertise and stability here. While our look is new, our mission remains. MHDCC is committed to saving, building and changing the lives of those affected by domestic violence in our region.”
