Men in Pink raise over $116,000 for cancer center in Murray

The Men in Pink of Calloway County campaign raised over $116,000 for the Regional Cancer Center at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

The group had their recognition and celebration to wrap up this year's campaign which brought in a total of $116,569. The participants are community leaders and fraternities at Murray State raising money and bringing awareness. Eleven men and two MSU fraternities took part, wearing pink, during the month of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  

The top fundraiser for 2024 was Cole Riley. He raised a total of $23,835, while Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity collected $3,970.

Since its inception, the program has raised over $400,000.
