The 16-year-old from Gilbertsville received the crown and sash from 2022 queen Caitlyn Hooks of Lyon County.
The Western Kentucky State Fair pageant is open to qualified residents from anywhere in Kentucky.
WHVO reported that Holmen said she was competing in just her second pageant.
