CFSB joined forces with McCracken County Schools to launch a new scholarship program, back in November.
The "I Am the Dream" scholarship program's goal is to assist two African American seniors in continuing their education at a community college, accredited university, or trade program this fall.
Two McCracken County High School seniors, Zoe Houston and Katherine Morrison, were awarded the $1,000 scholarships.
Houston will attend Murray State University, with the goal of becoming a math or physics teacher.
Morrison is headed to the University of Louisville to study nursing.
