Battle of the Badges softball game Saturday in Mayfield

City and county badges will face off once again this Saturday in the annual Mayfield-Graves County "Battle of the Badges" softball game.

Mayfield's police and fire departments will go to bat against the Graves County Sheriff's office and the Graves Couhty Jail at the Mayfield-Graves County ballpark starting at 6pm.

At 5:30, food will go on sale prepared by Graves County Jail Chief Deputy Pete Jackson. Fish, fries, hush puppies, and a drink will be $20.

There'll also be an auction to bid on several items.

The event is sponsored by the Mayfield Lions Club, to benefit Camp Rendezvous, a local nonprofit organization for veterans.
