Tilghman dominated on Senior Night from the opening kick, with an 82-yard TD return by Chance McPike. Then the Colonels bobbled the ensuing kickoff to start at their own 3, where they fumbled in the end zone and Tilghman's Javin Dukes scooped it up for the second Tornado touchdown in 30 seconds. A pick-six interception by Cam Wade, a Wade punt return TD, and a 23-yard run by DJ Wilson behind Ben Myers' lead block activated the running clock halfway through the first quarter. Tilghman tacked on touchdowns from Blair Sains with another punt return, Mason Copeland's 11-yard run, and a 3-yard pass from Avery Gates to Terry Gregg. Paducah Tilghman finishes 9-1 and champion of the 4A First District. They'll host Taylor County to open the playoffs.
Graves County 41 McCracken County 27
The Eagles struck first on a 38-yard pass from Jace Houston to Bodie VeuCasovic in the first quarter. The Mustangs evened the score in the second, until Graves' Brady Rozzell punched in a 1-yard run and VeuCasovic caught another 13-yard TD before the half. McCracken cut it to 34-27 late, But Houston's 39-yard TD run iced the win. Houston finished 14-of-20 for 164 yards in the air with one interception. He also ran 96 yards on 18 carries. The Eagles (4-6) travel to Bowling Green (4-6) next week to open the playoffs. McCracken County (5-5) will host Central Hardin (1-9).
