Paducah Tilghman  48   Logan County  27
Paducah Tilghman came from behind in the second half to beat Logan County and advance to the Class 4A state semifinals.

Logan County (10-3) won the toss and took the ball, marching down the field for the first points of the game. They would lead 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. A Tilghman fumble gave the Cougars the ball again just after the start of the second quarter. That led to another Logan touchdown, which stretched the lead to 17-0 before Paducah Tilghman ever got on the board.

DJ Wilson ran in two touchdowns in the second quarter to cut the lead to 3.  A field goal by the Cougars made the halftime score 20-14.

The Tornado stormed back in the third quarter as Stone Crowe hit Avery Thompson from 14 yards out to give Tilghman their first lead. After Prosper Livingston-Holmes picked up a Logan fumble, Crowe connected with Chance McPike from 19 yards out for the score. Isaac James got his only offensive snap of the game in the third, and it was a 31-yard run to the endzone.

Carson Carlock scored for Logan County on a 2-yard run to cut the score to 34-27.

Tilghman would score twice more in the fourth quarter, an 18-yard strike to Cam Wade and a 23-yard run for Wilson. Wilson, the senior, would finish with 262 yards on the ground, 15 more through the air, and 3 touchdowns.

Tilghman (12-1) moves on to a rematch of last year’s 4A State Title game, heading to Franklin County (13-0) next Friday night. Coverage will begin about 5:30 p.m. on SuperTalk 94.3 WKYX.
