South Fulton Child Injured in Union City Crash

A South Fulton child was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Union City.

KYTN reports that Union City Police said 39-year-old Christina Thorne, of Union City, was driving on Florida Street, when she struck a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Brandon Hinson of South Fulton.

Thorn's vehicle then struck the curb and overturned.

A six-year-old girl in Hinson's truck was injured and airlifted to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.

Thorne was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way, while Hinson was cited for failure to use a child restraint.
