A Canadian airline jet made an emergency landing in west Tennessee late Tuesday evening because of reports of smoke in the cabin.

WREG reports that Sunwing Airlines Flight 596, traveling from Cancun, Mexico to Calgary, Alberta was diverted to Memphis International Airport.

A spokesperson for the airline said a vape pen of a passenger could have accidentally discharged.

The Boeing 737 landed safely, and there were no reported injuries.
