Kentucky's Sen. Paul considering presidential run in 2028

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is considering a presidential run in 2028.

According to The Hill, Paul made the comment to CBS News in an audio clip that was recently released. Paul said he was "about 50-50" on whether he would make a run, and says he will decide following the November midterm election.

Paul, who ran for President briefly in 2016 before dropping out, has been a critic of President Trump and had previously stated he would not back a run by Vice President JD Vance in 2028.
