Kentucky vehicle owners can show their support for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System by buying a new specialty license plate.
The KCTCS license plates will cost car owners an extra $10. The extra fee goes directly to student emergency funds, helping students stay enrolled and continue working toward their careers. The student emergency funds will cover housing, food, transportation, childcare, academic supplies, utilities, and medical bills.
Visit your local county clerk’s office to request the KCTCS specialty plate, or order online through the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to personalize your plate with up to six characters.
At least 500 registrations must be purchased every year for the specialty plates to remain available to the public.
