A Murray woman who was arrested in August after fleeing from police and ramming a police cruiser has been sentenced to five years in jail.

Mayfield Police attempted to stop 32-year-old Cynthia Peck in August after receiving reports of a possibly intoxicated woman driving a white SUV.  Peck initially attempted to elude police, but eventually stopped in a parking lot.

While officers were approaching the vehicle, Peck put the vehicle in reverse and slammed into a police cruiser.
The vehicle Peck was driving had been reported stolen out of Calloway County two hours before the incident.

On Monday, Peck pleaded guilty in Graves County Circuit Court to charges of receiving stolen property $10,000 or more, first degree fleeing or evading police, two counts of first degree wanton endangerment, and first degree criminal mischief.
