A Clinton woman sought by police on murder and other charges stemming from a fatal crash last year has been apprehended.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office says 42-year-old Christina M. Weeks, who faces charges of murder, two counts of felony wanton endangerment, possession of a controlled substance and DUI, aggravating circumstance, was arrested Thursday in Obion County, Tennessee. Weeks was involved in a two-vehicle collision on Oct. 18, 2017 in Graves County on KY 58 West, just east of the Hickman County line. The driver of the other vehicle, Marilyn Armbruster of Clinton, was killed in the crash. A witness to the collision told deputies that just before impact, he saw Weeks’ vehicle cross the center line on KY 58 West. Deputies say Weeks was also seen on her cell phone just before impact.

Blood test results from Weeks provided sufficient evidence for the case to be taken to the August 2018 Graves County Grand Jury, where Weeks was indicted.
