A woman charged in connection with a fatal drive-by shooting in Mayfield last year has pleaded guilty.

Twenty-six-year-old Hayden Dunigan pleaded guilty Monday to facilitation to murder, a class D felony. She will be sentenced to five years in prison.

The drive-by shooting took place on June 18, 2019 at a duplex on West Lee Street, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Savannah Hancock. Hancock suffered a gunshot wound to her neck and died three days later at an Evansville hospital.

Two others face charges in the fatal drive-by. Thirty-year-old Stanford Shelton and 27-year-old Dimetri Ross are both charged with murder and convicted felon in possession of a handgun. Both were arrested in July.

Shelton and Ross are also charged with the May 12, 2019 attempted murder of Jerrod Powell at the same duplex.
