Woman Arrested on Illinois and Kentucky Warrants

A Kuttawa woman with warrants in both Illinois and Kentucky was arrested Friday afternoon.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says it received a request from Illinois to locate and arrest a fugitive from White County, who was believed to be in Lyon County.

The Sheriff's Office set up surveillance at a Kuttawa business where the woman, identified as 48-year-old Julie Seitz of Kuttawa, had been seen previously. Seitz was located Friday afternoon at the business and arrested.

Deputies learned that Seitz was also wanted on a previous theft case in Marshall County as well as two different cases in Illinois.

She was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
