Woman Arrested In Courthouse Parking Lot

A Todd County woman was arrested on drug charges Thursday morning in the parking lot of the Christian County Courthouse.

The Christian County Sheriff's Office reports that court security officers alerted deputies that 32-year-old Elisha S. Bush of Trenton, KY might be in possession of illegal contraband. Deputies searched the vehicle in which Bush was a passenger and allegedly found a small baggie of suspected methamphetamine, a syringe, and an unknown pill.

Bush was arrested on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
