When deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office were called to assist a driver on I-69, they said the driver, Jeffrey Howard of Union City, and an occupant appeared to be under the influence.
Deputies said Howard reportedly attempted to walk back to his vehicle. When the deputy attempted to stop him, a fight ensued.
Howard was charged with DUI first offense, third degree terroristic threatening, resisting arrest, failure to maintain insurance, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle.
