The state is reporting that unemployment rates fell in 111 Kentucky counties in February.
The Kentucky Office of Employment and Training released the latest county-by-county figures on Thursday.
The report showed Woodford County with the lowest jobless rate 6.9 percent, followed by Fayette County at 7.1 percent and Oldham County at 7.4 percent.
Fulton County had the state's highest unemployment rate at 18.3 percent. Menifee County was second at 17.3 percent. Both Magoffin and Jackson counties had rates above 16.5 percent.
Below are the unemployment numbers for February for counties in our area.
Ballard - 9.4 percent
Caldwell - 8.1 percent
Calloway - 8.1 percent
Carlisle - 8.4 percent
Crittenden - 8.6 percent
Fulton - 18.3 percent
Graves - 9.3 percent
Hickman - 10.0 percent
Livingston - 10.5 percent
Lyon - 10.4 percent
McCracken - 8.9 percent
Marshall - 10.4 percent
Trigg - 10.5 percent
