Two Vehicle Crash Sends One To Hospital

A two vehicle crash in Calloway County Monday night sent one person to an area hospital.

According to Kentucky State Police, the wreck happened around 8:45pm in the 5000 block of Kirksey Road. State Police said 21-year-old Brianna Herring of Almo was attempting to pass a truck driven by 22-year-old Austen Misner of New Concord on Kirksey Road when her car hydroplaned, left the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned, and then hit a parked vehicle.

Herring was transported to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment of her injuries.
