Two men were arrested and another cited after a short police pursuit in Graves County Thursday.

According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, deputies were in the Wingo area Thursday looking for Steven Blake Youngblood to question him about the recent theft of a lawn mower. When Youngblood saw police, he took off in his vehicle.

A short pursuit ensued, ending with Youngblood's arrest. Youngblood was charged with fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property under $500 and tampering with physical evidence.

A passenger in the vehicle, Davin Sanford, was also arrested. He was charged with theft by unlawful taking under $500. Sanford was also arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Frankfort.

A third person in the vehicle, Alexander Willie, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to deputies, Sanford confessed to stealing the mower and taking it to Youngblood's home. Youngblood admitted to having the mower on May 22, but told deputies he currently didn't know where it was.
