Three Tennesseans Face Drug Charges in Fulton Co.

Three people from Tennessee were arrested Monday after an investigation in Fulton County.

The Fulton County Sheriff's Department and Obion County Sheriff's Office partnered to execute a search warrant on Beech Grove Road in the Brownsville community. Deputies say they found marijuana, a large amount of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia, along with several guns. 

Kara Dunavant, Misty Turner and Joshua Roney, all of Obion County, Tennessee, were arrested at the home and taken to Fulton County Detention Center.

All three face charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dunavant and Roney were both charged with trafficking in marijuana. Roney faces additional charges of possession of a firearm by convicted felon and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. All of the charges against Dunavant and Roney are firearm enhanced.
