On Wednesday deputies were called to the scene of a collision on KY 408. Once on the scene, deputies found a truck lodged in a ditch. After speaking with the driver, 41-year-old Robert Huffstutter, deputies say it was apparent he was under the influence of alcohol.
After a search of his vehicle, deputies reportedly found one gram of cocaine and several empty bottles of alcohol. Deputies say he had also fired 10 rounds from a handgun through his window.
Huffstutter was charged with first offense DUI, possession of a controlled substance first degree, first degree wanton endangerment, possession of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the discharge of a firearm across a public road.
