Suspect Sought in Marshall County Armed Robbery

Deputies are investigating a Thursday afternoon armed robbery at a local dollar store.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says deputies got a call around 1:30 pm about an armed robbery at the Dollar General Store on US 68 West in Sharpe. Deputies said a male suspect came into the store, pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at the cashier and demanded all the money in the drawer. The suspect also reportedly robbed a customer who was in line at the front counter.

The man then left the store in a green Ford extended cab pickup with chrome running boards. He turned left on US 68 West, and headed towards McCracken County.
