A multi-county theft investigation has led to the arrest of six people, with more charges and arrests expected.

In December, the Graves County Sheriff's Office received numerous reports of property theft in the Symsonia and Clear Springs areas. Surveillance cameras at one of the theft sites captured two suspects, who were identified as 22-year-old William Burgie and 19-year-old Kelsi Dawson, both of Graves County.

The sheriff's office received information Tuesday that the suspects were hiding out in a camper in a remote, wooded area of Livingston County. Deputies from Graves, Livingston, and Marshall Counties set up surveillance at an area of interest. Burgie and Dawson were located a short time later and arrested after a short foot pursuit. Deputies reportedly recovered stolen items both in and around the camper, as well as methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The vehicle believed to have been used in the thefts was also located in a wooded area approximately 100 yards off the roadway.

Burgie and Dawson were arrested and charged with third degree burglary and first degree criminal trespass. Burgie was also charged with possession of methamphetamine second offense.

As part of their investigation, Graves County Sheriff's Deputies went to a home on State Route 58 East Tuesday night, where they recovered numerous stolen items including tools, a kerosene heater, and ATVs. Deputies also reportedly seized methamphetamine and the homeowner, 56-year-old Anthony Driver, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Early Wednesday morning, a search warrant was executed at another home on Jakes Duke Road in Livingston County, where deputies allegedly found methamphetamine, a firearm, drug paraphernalia, and a large quantity of stolen items.  Deputies arrested  36-year-old Joshua Armbruster, 40-year-old Vickie Jolley, and 46 year-old Grady P'Poole at this location.

Armbruster was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Jolley was charged with possession of methamphetamine, and P'Poole was arrested on a warrant out of Livingston County.

Deputies from several counties searched the Jake Dukes Road property later that morning attempting to identify stolen merchandise from open theft cases in their counties. Graves deputies recovered a large trailer full of items that had been stolen from Graves County residences, Kentucky State Police also recovered items stolen from Graves County, and McCracken County deputies seized items from thefts there.

Deputies said the home on Jake Dukes Road was used as a "Stolen Property Depot" or fencing location.

The investigation is ongoing, and more charges and arrests are expected.
