A Murray organization has donated $4,000 to be used to support local healthcare facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rotary Club of Murray President James Gallimore presented a check Thursday to Murray-Calloway County Hospital CEO Jerry Penner.

The funds will reportedly be used to provide meals for employees at MCCH, Spring Creek Healthcare and the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House.

“We appreciate the generosity of so many community businesses and organizations who have reached out to the hospital during this pandemic. It provides our employees with even more pride for our beloved community and uplifts their spirits. Again, thank you,” Penner said.

To donate to the Foundation at Murray-Calloway County Hospital, contact the organization's Chief Philanthropy Officer Keith Travis at 270-227-0253.
