Police Investigate Body Found in Benton

A dead body has been found in Benton.

The Benton Police Department, with assistance from the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, is investigating after the body was found Sunday in a fielded area near the Dollar General Store.

The body has not been identified and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday in Louisville. However, Police Chief Tracy Watwood said foul play is not suspected.
