Since West Kentucky Star reported Tuesday on cases in Marshall County, the Marshall County Health Department has had only two new cases. They were reported Thursday, and are a 53-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man. Marshall County now has 53 cases, with 2 deaths and 17 cases still active. Since June 9, there have been 17 new cases in the county.
Graves County Health Department reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. They are two women in their 20s, three men in their 30s, a man in his 50s, and a man in his 60s. They are all isolated in their homes. These cases bring the Graves County total to 185 cases.
Southern Seven Health Department reported 20 new positive tests this week, including nine on Friday, for 175 cases. They range from two boys under 10 and two teenagers to a man in his 80s. Ten cases are in Union County, five are in Johnson County, three are in Pulaski County and two are in Alexander County. Three deaths were reported this week, and all of them are from Union County - a man in his 70s and two women in their 90s. A total of 18 people have died from the virus in the southern seven counties of Illinois.
The Purchase District Health Department released information about 20 new cases this week, with 18 in McCracken County and 2 in Ballard County. These cases range from a 10-year-old boy to a pair of 83-year-old women. To date, McCracken County has 127 cases, with 3 deaths. Carlisle County has 5 cases with 1 death, Ballard County has 15 cases, Hickman County has 4 cases, and Fulton County has 12.
The Calloway County Health Department has reported 9 new positive tests this week. This brings their total to 62 cases, with 1 death.
