North Graves Crash Sends Four to Local Hospitals

A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US 45 and KY 408 in West Viola sent four people to local hospitals.

According to the Graves County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to the scene at 7:00 am Monday morning.

They said a vehicle driven by Sue Ann Mathis was northbound on US 45. When the vehicle entered the intersection with KY 408, a vehicle driven by Myra Reyes turned left in front of it. The crash caused both vehicles to leave the roadway.

Mathis and a passenger, Jimmie Mathis, were transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield for treatment of injuries. Reyes and her passenger, Allen West, were transported to Baptist Health-Paducah.
