Murray Teen In Crash While Avoiding Deer

A Murray teen was taken to a hospital Friday evening, as a result of trying to avoid hitting a deer.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Department arrived at a single-vehicle crash on Tucker Garland Road, where they found a vehicle that had struck a guardrail and a fence.

Deputies said the driver, 17-year-old Jasmin Javier had tried to avoid hitting the deer and lost control. 

She was taken by private vehicle to Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
