Wilson has been at MCCH for nine years where he held the position of Vice President of Human Resources/Operations. Prior to working at MCCH, he worked as the Director of Human Resources at multiple hospitals in Kentucky and New York.
As the COO he will handle and oversee many facets of the hospital, on a daily basis he will be working with: Human Resources, Facilities, Food Services, Rehab Services, Laboratory, Ambulance, and Physician Practices and Provider Relations. Wilson is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining the daily operations of MCCH. Wilson has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky; a Master’s Degree in Human Resource’s from Sullivan University and is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Wilson is from Jamestown, KY, and has four children: Megan(19), Lucas (16), Grace (10) and Anna (6). John has been married to his wife, Jamie, for 23 years. When he’s not working, John enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid University of Kentucky and Murray State University fan.
