A man and woman seen shoplifting Friday at the Fulton Wal Mart led police on a high speed chase through four counties in two states.

According to the Fulton Police Department, store employees attempted to stop the people as they left the store.

During the attempt, one of them knocked money from the hands of a customer, and fled with it.

The customer chased after the man and woman, and was struck by their vehicle as they were fleeing the parking lot. The customer received minor injuries.

The fleeing couple led police on a high-speed pursuit through Fulton, Hickman, Graves, and Weakley counties. When the vehicle stopped, the man then fled on foot.

Police apprehended the woman, identified as Brandy Arnett of Mayfield. Arnett was charged with first degree robbery.

The man was identified as Anthony Travis of Dukedom. Travis has active warrants in Graves County and is also wanted for first degree robbery.

Anyone with information about Travis’ whereabouts is asked to contact Fulton Police, or any law enforcement agency.
