Missing Christian County Inmate Back in Custody

An inmate at the Christian County Detention Center who walked off a work detail Monday morning has turned himself in.

According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers in Madisonville were contacted at around 10:30 am by the Christian County Detention Center about 21-year-old Giovanni Haskins, who had walked away while he was on work release at Ruff Park at 735 North Drive in Hopkinsville.

Police say Haskins turned himself in at the Christian County Detention Center later Monday afternoon.
