According to the Mayfield Police Department, officers were called to the Plaza Apartments on Barton Drive where officers say 39-year-old Jessica Coble of Mayfield allegedly stabbed a male victim in the chest.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Jackson Purchase Medical Center and is expected to recover from a non-life threatening injury.
Police found Coble at her apartment. Police say Coble was arrested after evidence showed that she followed the victim into the roadway after he left her apartment. A knife was recovered at Coble's apartment.
Coble was charged with 2nd degree assault domestic violence and lodged in the Graves County Jail.
