Two Graves County residents were arrested Monday on drug charges. According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, detectives with the drug division stopped at 202 Hale Street in Mayfield late Monday afternoon to execute a warrant on 27-year-old Kevin Morris of Mayfield.

During his arrest, deputies reportedly found a canister and a straw in Morris' pockets that contained methamphetamine. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.

The owner of the home, 31-year-old Brandy Turner, was also arrested after detectives reportedly found more methamphetamine in her purse, along with digital scales and plastic baggies that had been used to package methamphetamine. A small amount of marijuana was found in Turner's pocket and in another room of the home.

Turner was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
