A Mayfield man was arrested Tuesday on drug and burglary charges.

The Mayfield Police Department says officers responded to a vacant home believed to have someone illegally staying inside. Officers found 35-year-old Jesse Piscatelle inside with his personal belongings.

Officers reportedly found damage to the door and windows.

Piscatelle was arrested and placed in a patrol car. Police said Piscatelle then began hitting and kicking, causing damage to the interior of the vehicle.

During a search of his belongings, police allegedly found methamphetamine.

Piscatelle was transported to the Graves County Jail where he was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
