A Mayfield man is facing a long list of charges after a collision Tuesday in Graves County.

The Mayfield Police Department says 43-year-old Gregory Williamson was clocked going 80 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone on the 121 Bypass. As an officer turned around to get behind Williamson's vehicle, Williamson passed the vehicle in front of him on the shoulder, and then struck the rear end of a vehicle, causing it to then hit the rear end of the vehicle in front of it.

The investigation led to Williamson being arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail. He's charged with speeding, failure to wear a seat belt, no registration plate, no registration receipt, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, improper passing, criminal mischief, driving on a DUI suspended license and DUI second offense.
