Deputies conducted a traffic stop and arrested Burnett for DUI, failure to produce an insurance card and on warrants for having no operator's license. Deputies said Burnett had a large amount of cash on him at the time of his arrest.
Deputies obtained a search warrant for his home where they found a handgun, many other weapons, pipes, plastic baggies, rolling papers, methamphetamine and marijuana. Burnett was additionally charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (firearm enhanced), possession of marijuana (firearm enhanced), possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He was lodged in the Graves County Jail.
