Man Dies in Fiery Single Vehicle Accident

A single-vehicle accident early Saturday morning claimed the life of the driver.

According to the Graves County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to the area of Kentucky Highway 1890 and Hayes School Road in the Farmington Community just before 2 am.

Deputies say the driver, 25-year-old Nathan Donald Taylor was eastbound on Highway 1890 when his vehicle dropped off the left side of the road. He lost control of the vehicle, which traveled across a field, struck a tree and exploded into flames. 

Mayfield Fire Department, Mayfield-Graves County EMS, Farmington Fire Department and the Graves County Coroner's office also responded to the scene. The Coroner's office declared Taylor dead at the scene.
