Kentucky State Police Trooper Rob Austin told West Kentucky Star 52-year-old Lawrence Florentine has been charged with domestic murder in the death of 36-year-old Nicole Florentine.
Lawrence Florentine already faced an abuse of a corpse charge in the case. He was served Friday with the murder warrant.
The body of Nicole Florentine was found June 13 in a shallow grave in a cemetery on Highway 91. Lawrence Florentine was apprehended late last month in Denver, Colorado.
He is currently awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
