A man is facing multiple charges following a two-vehicle collision in Mayfield Tuesday.

The Mayfield Police Department says officers responded to West Broadway and North 12th Street for a two-vehicle collision without injuries. While enroute, another witness called in to report that one of the drivers involved in the collision had exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

Officers arrived and found the man hiding in some bushes behind a business on Broadway. The man, identified as 26-year-old Domingo Pastor Pastor, was detained and brought back to the scene of the collision.

Officers said Pastor matched the description given by the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, and his name was on the Kentucky temporary registration tag on the back of the car. When asked, police said Pastor admitted to driving the vehicle.

Pastor was placed under arrest and transported to the Graves County Jail. He's charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, 4th or greater offense , leaving the scene of an accident, possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, failure of owner to maintain required insurance and driving on a DUI suspended license.
