Local Man Jailed After Found Passed Out in Vehicle

A Marshall County man is facing drug charges after he was found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, a deputy was dispatched Friday morning to US 68 East in reference to an intoxicated person passed out in a vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy found 31-year-old Paul S. Kissiar, of Benton, asleep behind the wheel with his foot on the gas and the vehicle being at high RPM.

Kissiar was arrested and charged with public intoxication-controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance and prescription controlled substance not in the proper container.

He was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
