According to the Kentucky State Police, they were contacted on Saturday by the Christian County Sheriff's Department regarding the discovery of possible human remains.
Detectives arrived on the scene, where they learned that a farmer had located the human remains off of Barkers Mill Road in the Oak Grove community.
Detectives say the investigation is ongoing.
