Graves Two Vehicle Crash Injures One

A two vehicle crash Saturday at the intersection of KY 440 and KY 945, in Graves County, injured one person.

According to the Graves County Sheriff's Department, at approximately 2:00 pm, a deputy was called to the scene. 

The investigation found that a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Kenneth Morefield was traveling east on KY 440, while another vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Keaton Pierceall, was traveling north on KY 945.

Pierceall's vehicle crossed the intersection in front of Morefield's, and the vehicles collided, as Morefield did not have adequate time to avoid the crash.

Morefield was not injured, however a passenger in his vehicle, 28-year-old Amber Jackson complained of neck pain. Jackson was treated on the scene by Mayfield-Graves County EMS, and was cleared.

Pierceall, and his passenger, 18-year-old Bryce Nelson, were reportedly not injured.
