A Graves County woman was arrested Thursday after one of her young children was reportedly found unattended. Graves County sheriff's deputies said they received a call from a resident on Central Road. The caller said there was a small boy in their back yard. The caller said the two-year-old boy was wearing only a shirt and that they did not know where he had come from.

After about 40 minutes, deputies identified a home where they thought the child might live. After knocking on the door, deputies were let in by a three-year-old girl. Deputies said the mother of both children was found asleep in a bedroom.

When deputies asked the mother where her two-year-old son was, she said she didn't know. While inside the home, deputies noticed a baggy of a green, leafy substance that the woman said was marijuana, as well as assorted drug paraphernalia.

Deputies determined that the boy had crossed Central Road in order to get to where he was found. Shaina Dillon was arrested for wanton endangerment, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dillon was lodged in the Graves County Jail. Social Services placed the children with family members.
