On Tuesday, the Graves County Health Department announced five new cases of the virus in the county.
Three of the new cases are isolating at home. They include a child, someone in their 20's, and someone in their 60's.
Two of the new cases are isolating in the hospital. They include someone in their 30's and someone in their 60's.
“Never let your guard down.” said Kathy Gifford, Nurse Supervisor for the local health department.
“Every day we must be aware of our surroundings and our environment. Regardless whether it is familiar or not.” commented Noel Coplen, Director of the local health department.
Health officials encourage everyone to make social distancing a priority "for the sake of our entire community."
