The Graves County Sheriff's Office says the second annual "Cram the Cruiser" event was a huge success again this year.

Thanks to Graves County residents and local Dollar General stores, deputies were able to collect 2,507 toys, 2,317 food items and 823 toiletry and personal hygiene items. Deputies and other helpers spent Tuesday making deliveries, and some last-minute deliveries will be made today.

The toys collected were delivered to the Community Christmas Connection, which is operated by the Family Resource Centers at Mayfield and Graves County Schools.

The food items were delivered to the Mayfield/Graves County Food Pantry and Needline, as well as the St. Vincent de Paul Food Ministry.

Toiletry and personal hygiene items were delivered to the Lighthouse Women and Children's Shelter in Mayfield.
