Four people were injured when a vehicle crashed in Christian County Friday morning during a high-speed pursuit.

WKDZ reports that Christian County deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding driven by 22-year-old Keyvonte Pettus. Pettus fled and was pursued by police for several miles before crashing as he attempted to exit the Pennyrile Parkway.

Pettus and three passengers, 33-year-old Leonard Scott, III, 18-year-old Arwan Arwan, and 18-year-old Renee Carnes, all of Louisville, were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville for treatment of injuries.

The vehicle was reportedly stolen in Louisville, and all four were charged with receiving stolen property. Pettus was also charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, speeding, reckless driving, and first-degree fleeing or evading police.

Pettus, Arwan, and Carnes were taken to the Christian County Jail after being treated and released from the hospital. Scott was cited to court and was transferred to another hospital.
