According to a press release, there will be special meet and greets with your favorite superhero characters, as well as a chance to decorate your own mask and cape, take a local hero assessment and become a local hero recruit.
There will also be inflatables, face-painting, food trucks, and a superhero themed enduro race. To finish it all off, there will be a superhero movie night in the park.
Kentucky Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau Marketing Director Alana Blevins says Hero Fest will have a little something for the whole family to enjoy.
"It's gonna be a great day for families to come out especially if you have young children will have some super heroes there but then it's going to be a great celebration of our first responders as well kids can interact with our first responders will actually take a local hero exam with the potential to become a new recruit within our community so we're really excited about that." She said.
The event runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and is sponsored by Pinnacle Construction, Feels Like Home Realty, the City of Benton, and the Benton Partnership.
