A problem with fiber-optic cable is causing problems for some Comcast cable TV and internet customers this week.

Numerous customers have complained about interruptions in their TV or internet service, and a technician for Comcast told WestKentuckyStar that there has been a break in a fiber-optic cable in the Hopkinsville area, and it affecting customers from Paducah to Madisonville.

There is no estimate on when repairs will be completed.

As of Saturday morning, Comcast customers in the Paducah area are reporting service is back.
