Fatal Mayfield Shooting Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

A Mayfield man facing a murder charge pleaded not guilty on Monday.

Thirty-three-year-old Charles Holloway entered a not guilty plea in Graves Circuit Court. A pretrial conference is set for March 23 at 9:00am.

Holloway is charged with the murder of 35-year-old Reggie Dowell of Mayfield at a gas station in Mayfield on Dec. 8, 2019.

Mayfield Police say Holloway was a friend of Dowell, and admitted to shooting him after an argument took place in the vehicle in which they were passengers.
